John Portman Boulevard Streetscape Design + Engineering

Perez Planning + Design, LLC (PP+D) was hired by the PATH Foundation to serve as the Project Manager for the John

Portman Boulevard Protected Two-way Cycle Track and Streetscape Design + Engineering. Previously, Carlos Perez

completed the John Portman Boulevard Urban Multi-Use Trail + Streetscape Constructability Study as well as the

construction documents while working for AECOM. Construction documentation services included drainage, hardscape,

landscape, signage/wayfinding, and lighting design services. As the Project Manager, PP+D worked with the PATH

Foundation and contractor to coordinate construction of the cycle track. During construction, the PATH Foundation also

hired PP+D to complete additional design services including the design of the protected cycle track's granite buffer

curb as well as to work collaboratively with Toole Design Group to develop a safe design for the first two-way cycle track

intersection in the United States.
